I felt compelled to address this issue for those who are looking for meaning from this experience.

There is of course a very good reason why people would be searching for more meaning. Unfortunately the system that should provide these answers (churches and religion) have failed miserably at addressing this issue. Religions of the world are stuck hundreds of years in the past, and the only explanations they can provide seem counter to common sense and as such leave the investigator with more questions than answers.

So, whom could we turn too for clarity? Well of course we can use the experiences of the millions of people who have had near death experiences, and to a lesser degree we can use the adventures of people who experience Out Of Body Experiences - of which I have personally experienced this. We can also use the information acquired from the metaphysical community as this is the direct exploration of everything that is not physical. Much of this information is gathered via communication with the spirit world.

First of all, death is not death. Society has simply taught us the wrong information about what to expect when this experience happens to us. In fact, I do not even like to use that word, as it implys so many wrongful meanings. Crossing over is a much better term that is in fact much closer to the true meaning of crossing over.
In the big picture of life, humans are on an evolutionary path - and I am not referring to the concept of evolution where life evolves. I am speaking to the reality that each human has a soul. This soul experiences the earth plane by incarnating in a human body, to grow up and experience this world of polarity. As I'm sure you have noticed, we live in a world of duality, hot-cold, happy-sad, angry-peaceful. Therefore earth is the classroom of the soul where we eventually learn to live in harmony with (God, Divine Source, Creation).

Through our souls growth we learn many lessons and we experience many lifetimes, in as many different roles. Sometimes we play the victim and sometimes we play the victimizer. Sometimes we are poor, and sometimes we are rich. We evolve our souls, in the same way that we evolve our personalities through education and experience.

Crossing over is simply a graduation of one class. We take our experiences back to the world of spirit where we reflect on our lives and recharge our batteries. Eventually with much assistance we decide when and where we will incarnate into the earth plane again to continue our souls educations. Unless of course the last life lived was a profound life where we came to true understanding of life and God, and we have completed our reincarnation cycles.

As we first cross over into the world of spirit, we will be met by people we may have know for lifetimes. We will be met by relatives who have already crossed over. Our first impressions will be of overwhelming love and acceptance. We will at this point have memories of who we have been before, and we will have instant memory of who all these people are. We will feel that we have arrived at home. This is the case for all who have crossed over into the world of spirit, regardless of how "bad" or "good" they may have been. In the world of spirit, there is no judgment - only observation of how well one did to meet the goals that were selected before birth.

After the greeting there is a time of reflection where each person reviews the entire past life to gain the knowledge of what was done well, and what was done poorly. Still there is no judgment, only reflection. When this period is over, the person then moves into the world of spirit where there is a real world, just like here on earth. There are many things to do, and you may explore and learn about anything you desire to know. You may spend many months here, or you may spend hundreds of earth years here.

There is no sense of time in the world of spirit, as this is a higher dimension. The past, present and even future can be explored if desired. As you interact with other spirits they can assume many shapes, and they usually assume for you the appearance of the person they were the last time you had experience together on earth. Spirits usually manifest themselves in their twenties or thirties when they were physically in prime physical condition. Sometimes a newly arrived spirit will attempt to make communication with physical loved ones, and in some cases do make this communication.

And that is the general nature of crossing over. There are of course a few rare exceptions. If a person lived a very destructive life, and had a very strong belief in heaven and hell, then upon crossing over they may experience a hell type of environment. This experience is not punishment, as there is no punishment. This is simply the result of strong beliefs that set up the transition environment. In time, with help from other spirits this false illusion will dissolve and the person will be shown the true nature of reality.

There are different levels of spirit world, and you may go as high as your spiritual evolution has taken you. If you were a crooked scoundrel in your past lives and have not matured spiritually, then you will be restricted to the lower levels of the spirit world. This is because like attract like which is a physical and spiritual law of nature. This type of person would receive much counseling from spirit type guides who's job is to assist those of a lower nature. And yes, when we cross over we will find all sorts of jobs that we can undertake while in the world of spirit.

So I would say, never fear crossing over. This will be a grand experience that you have done before, and once you are experiencing this again, you will have instant recall of your memories that are not available to us while in the physical body. Embrace your life, and attempt to evolve spiritually. Enjoy life, and enjoy the day when you eventually cross over, one more.

He Died for Our Sins? What a Crazy Social Paradigm this was !

"He Died for our Sins" - One of the oldest and most manipulated Paradigms of all...

You have been told, as I have that Jesus died for our sins. When you were a young little kid and you first heard this notion, it is very likely that that idea did not make sense to you. It certainly made no sense to me, and that among several other ideas that we were taught haunted me for years until I came to an understanding about why I felt that way.

We all have an idea about what Jesus was about, with the teachings we were given that he taught to the people he came into contact with. He was non judgmental, loving and always seeing in other people the same thing he saw in the source of life, or God. He lived his life on this earth without following any other man, or religion. He simply relied on the voice within himself, and was able to access this knowledge for the way he thought about others without judgment or condemnation.

We all know the story we were told about his life and the crucifixion at the end of his life. We are also told the reasons behind this life and ending of this life, were that he died so that God would be able to forgive us of our sins. I want you to reflect back to the first time you heard this perspective of this story. It is more than likely that this simply did not make sense to you, your common sense that you were born with could not see a connection between these events. Some of the questions that you may have thought include; If God is God and all powerful, why could he not forgive us anyway? Why would God allow his son to die in such a horrific way, so that he would be capable of forgiving us, when as we all know forgiveness is simply a choice that one makes. If your common sense is like mine, it must have screamed to you that there is no connection between the two events, not even in an indirect way. I certainly would not have to sacrifice my kids to forgive you. There simply is no connection between the two events.

Why would we be told this was the reason for Jesus to have walked this earth?

Because this story instills the notion that we are separate from God, the source, that we are “sinful” in nature and that is such a reality that God allowed his son to die so that he could save our souls. This story makes Jesus a martyr and creates the notion that we are inherently sinful and separate from God, so that we have to follow the church to find our forgiveness of these inherently sinful attributes that we are born with.

In other words, the church used this slant on the events to create the illusion that we are so separate from God by sin, and that it is such a reality that he let his own son be killed so that he could once again accept us. This whole theory establishes the idea that we must follow the church for forgiveness of sin. In fact it is so true that God had to sacrifice his son to make it so, they say.

Now lets use our common sense to evaluate this theory. If I do not need to sacrifice my son to forgive you, then you can rest assured that God would not have to sacrifice his son to forgive you. To even assume that God has to forgive you, means that God has previously condemned you. To condemn you means he cast you away from him, away from love, away from acceptance and shut you off from his connection.

If God created everything, including you, then you have to be made of what God is. If God is omnipresent, omnipotent and the source for all things, to condemn you or me or anyone is to condemn a part of himself, much as a person may hate and condemn their own fat body, or a face they perceive as ugly. Humans do condemn their selves and even each other, and we also contract diseases like cancer where the body begins to destroy its self as if it were reacting to our own condemnation. But would you place that same level of ignorance on the one you call God? Would God the source actually condemn any part of its self, to shut a part of its self off from its own love and forgiveness? Well if God would do that, he would be much more Human than Godly.

Would it not agree with your own common sense that Jesus had a stronger connection to this source than most of mankind? Would it not make sense to you that the teachings and perspective that he gave the world at the time he was here was a contribution that was needed at that time? Could the reason of his lifetime simply be to impart that knowledge to the rest of us? Jesus was not known to have ever condemned anyone for anything. Would you think the source energy that he was living through would do any different?

What does your common sense think about the possibility of men skewing the truth of these events, to gain control of your spiritual destiny? For if they can control your spiritual destiny then they control your values, your tithing, your forgiveness and can remove your own sense of personal connection to God. The same personal connection that Jesus must have had since he was not part of any religion nor did he follow any master. Jesus forgave everyone, without sacrificing anyone. I have forgiven many people without sacrificing anyone, and I imagine you have done the same.

If Jesus was crucified or IF he lived his life to an old age, his eventual death had nothing to do with your forgiveness. Forgiveness was inherent in his message and his life. Forgiveness wasn’t something that he exercised, it was just the normal state since he never condemned. Jesus followed his own inner voice, following no dogma or religious leader. He exercised his own common sense and his innate connection to source that we all have equally. Perhaps he was so knowledgeable for the fact that he looked for the guidance and wisdom from within, rather than outside of himself. Perhaps this alone was the message he passed along to the rest of us.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tonyhanes.blogspot.com/2008/09/he-died-for-our-sins.html' title='He Died for Our Sins? Separation from God; God has never been separate from anyone at any time. God created everything, not from another substance but from self. There was and is no other substance other than God in a billion different forms and shapes. God just is, as the ocean is to the fish. You do not need a savior, you do not need a ceremony and you do not need a church to find alignment with this source. God lives in the eyes of your child, and in the eyes of the neighbor you despise. The only form of separation is the illusion created when you judge another with condemnation, which separates you from the source. Remove the condemnation, and thusly remove the separation.

2. Living one lifetime; Everything in nature has a repeating pattern, from planets revolving around the sun, to the seasons of the earth. Even as we exist here in our bodies we have been taught to believe that it is impossible to have done it before or to do it again. Even as common sense, the one tool we all inherited from our source screams to us this is not logical. Living one lifetime is not a minute fraction of the time it requires to experience this earth and all the contrast involved. From living in wealth to poverty, to expressing love to living in rage, there are so many experiences to live through that one lifetime is not logical or realistic. Of course every person feels some experience with many contrasting things in this world, many of which that were never directly experienced. This feeling of wisdom is of course the soul’s memory of experience once lived on earth before. This accounts for our own unique personalities and preferences that we are born with. We were all taught that the concept of living one lifetime to enforce the power of the churches and establishments who needed us to believe they had control of our souls. But the spiritual masters who walked this earth never followed any religion or man, but followed the path toward source from within their own souls. In fact many of them suggested they would be back again…

3. Facing Judgment day; This notion alone suggests that faulty idea of singular lifetimes. Further it suggests a God or source that has the inclinations of mankind who judge everything from the neighbors lifestyle to how each other should live. Mounting one on a pedestal of Judgment is a very human condition that humanity has placed on their idea of God. It would in fact be very much ungodly to judge one after a brief lifetime, when God knows that another or other lifetimes would give that soul the experience to rise above to his or her potential. God, the all that is, including you and me would allow us the time required to learn how to live in harmony with self. Self, being God. Since life is eternal, and God is eternal, then allowing the pieces of its self - us, God or source would allow us the time needed to train us into alignment with self. For God to ever judge us and cast us into a fiery mythological hell, would be to send self to the same place. What the source of all that is would do, is give us the opportunity to once again experience the earth, born into a new set of circumstances that surround us with the new learning experiences that we need to grow into alignment with self. Again, self being God.

4. Seeking your truth in church or religion; Through the self created illusion, churches, establishments and religions have taught with the faulty notion of separation from God that the only way to access this spiritual guidance is through a direct chain of command, being a pope, a pastor, a rabi or other leader from an official organization, interestingly from the same organizations that created the illusion of separation. Creating harmony on earth, living in alignment with the source is accomplished by each person acknowledging that the path to God is done with your every thought in seeking harmony with everything else that exists. In finding reasons to separate yourself from others you are simply ignoring an area of life, of God. The connection to source or God is done in each moment as you find the qualities in each other that make you feel good. In the laughter of a child, in the compassion of the old woman, in your friends encouragement you find where God is. The source of all can not separate its self from its self. The path to God is only simply in your understanding of the whole as everything is the same source. It has always been human nature to set up someone above everyone else; we find this in governments, schools, and of course humanity allowed the path to God to be set up in the same way. This has caused people to mistakenly believe that other people have more of a connection to God than themselves. The existence of the system its self suggests that the people above you know what’s the best thing for you. The source did not create us to freely give our own power away to others to dictate our own relationship to self. The source did however give us the power to choose if we would. God never gave someone else the rules to live your own life by. He gave you the access to that information as he did everyone. It was the misguided idea of separation of God that made people look outside of themselves for the knowledge they wanted. Harmony with the source has always been but one breath away. Harmony is what exists when all judgment of others and self are removed.

Death, its not so bad

Death, what a creepy word

But of course it is. After the way most of us were raised about what death is, its no wonder at all that we have a poor and utterly complete misunderstanding of what it means. In this misunderstanding we exaggerate the negative of what this experience is into the whole meaning and then build that up too something that is intolerable. Religion leads this march of misinformation as they ad the added possibility of someone burning in the fires of Hell. A concept introduced to the bible on the King James revision to scare the hell out of those they wished to control. Naturally that was an effective means of getting the masses into the grand doors of the church, but the resulting complications were that of complete misunderstanding of the most natural part of life and life ever lasting.

The true spiritual teachers of our history were never part of religions, including Jesus. They were people who had a broader ability to connect with truth and to the universal vibration of God. They delivered what information they could part to us in simple ways that we might understand the concepts that they were actually experiencing. Men as men do, then began to create whole establishments of religion to control the masses based on their interpretation of the truth. Ironically the men they surrounded this dogma with, would not have ever been part of any religion. These men were rouges, going by the beat of their own drummers. They did not listen to other men, but to the innate guidance within that they tried so hard to impart to us.

Death is only a continuance of who we are in this lifetime. Through our lives we develop attitudes and preferences from the contrast that we live on earth. There is no contrast on the other side from which we come, as there is only harmony; no hate vs. love, no hunger vs. satisfaction. Our time with the earth experience sets us up with desires and ambitions that propel our journey forward into all experience. This can only be accomplished from the contrast of the earthly experience. You must know anger to know peace. Death is a jumping out of the earthly experience, back to the home base so to speak. It is the most natural thing, the most exciting thing that we can do.

When we cross over, after a brief adjustment period we are then able to access the real understanding of our lives and the lifetime we just completed. The illusions we lived in are completely removed and we are once again able to see the whole picture of life and the meaning of it. For some people who have extremely hard set expectations of what the death experience will be, they will temporarily arrive in what seems to be a world based entirely on their beliefs. This is to lighten the adjustment period for that person, to gradually bring them into the true nature of the experience. Some people who may have sudden deaths and still have strong emotional ties to the earth plane may temporarily get stuck within the earths vibration until enough time passes that they are made aware of their situation and then make the adjustments to cross over into the light.

Death is a liberation of all earthly struggles and pains. It is a day of graduation, where the soul flows into a stream of unyielding love that is home. It is not a time of judgment but a time of reflection. Regardless of the life one lived, whether a life of extreme negativity or absolute prosperity the soul has accomplished yet another great and awesome experience of being on the leading edge of creation. Again I say, there will be no judgment, only reflection. The lifetime lived spews forth inspirations and desires and knowledge that can only be gained in the lifetime of contrast. This knowledge grows the soul, expands the soul into a broader and more beautiful expression of God. Unfortunately we have been taught to be born and fear death from each turn of the day. Death is an experience that liberates us from the constraints of earthly life and is in fact a wonderful gift that we will all receive. The only reason we should avoid the experience is that we came here to accomplish more experiences to gain more knowledge out of the contrast of earth. We came here for that purpose, to experience contrast and then grow our own ambitions. This is a treasure that we carry back when we cross over, and this knowledge benefits not only us but the greater energy of God.

As another teaching of religion we are all taught that we are separate from God and others. God as well as our loved ones are somewhere on the outside of us, only reachable at some future time. After we are conditioned to believe this, then the death of a loved one becomes particularly traumatic since we lost our true understanding of what death truly is, and our innate relationship to God and our loved ones. Our loved ones are as close as the ocean is to the fishes within. When they leave the physical body, they have transcended the confines of a single form of expression and are now capable of engaging with you in other forms of awareness. They have actually become more available to you, but in your own misunderstanding of death you have become less available to them. Your own belief that they are gone somewhere else far away from you actually prevents you from feeling them or hearing them in the other ways they have to communicate with you.

Reconsider the beliefs that you adopted about death from religion or information that was simply passed down generation to generation. Your own common sense will provide you with all the information that you need. Sure it takes time, but it all begins with the desire to find the truth based solely on how that information feels to you. The more you look, the more you find. Death is only a rebirth. It is only the completion of the circle of life. It is the most natural and exciting liberation that you can imagine. Look forward to death, when the time comes. It is the day you graduate from a very special school.

The Grand Design of Life

If there is one game plan that we have as we come down to start another journey on this earth, this would be it. It is something that we all have in common and it is such a brilliant system that to step back and see the true magic of the world is absolutely incredible.

There are two major aspects of life as we are here on the earth. I will talk about the first one now, it is the Classroom of Life. This is the first place that we all find ourselves at the time we are born. There are almost 7 billion people on this earth now, yet we all have different class rooms that we were born into.

What exactly is our classroom? Its simply where we are born into this world. Our parents, our family, our neighborhood, our schools and our friends as children are our own unique classrooms of life. In these endless variety of classrooms we find everything from poverty to abuse to wealth and love. You certainly cant find any fairness in this brief snapshot of the universe for there are diverse and immense differences in our classrooms. The fairness is there however, one just has to step back and see the bigger picture. Our classrooms fit us, exactly what we needed on our repeating journeys of life here on earth. We will be born into the circumstances that fit what experiences our soul wanted to experience at this point in our journey.

If poverty was an issue that we wanted to experience, we would be faced with that immediately from birth and everything about our environment would push that quickly into our faces so that there would be no escape. Much like the way we teach our kids lessons in a classroom rather than at a baseball game, there will be no real distractions from the classroom we find ourselves in.

Why would someone choose to experience poverty you say? We live in a world of contrast, both black and white, hot and cold. It is this very contrast that allows us to learn what feels good and what does not feel good. This contrast is a teacher that will ultimately have your respect. If it were not for the contrast of poverty compared to wealth, one could never know the experience of wealth.

If your classroom was that of poverty, then you now know what you came into this lifetime to experience, and perhaps work yourself towards wealth when you learned how to move from one to the other. If you never picked up the skill on how to make this transition, the theme of poverty will follow you throughout your life, always the steady teacher, waiting for you to get the lesson. Don't we see this pattern often in people who were born into abusive or drug related families who will seem to be haunted by these same energies throughout their lives?
The classroom is our jumping off point, where we decided to embrace this earthly life surrounded by the fundamental lessons that we purposely surrounded ourselves in. Moving beyond the classroom that we inherited we need to understand the next aspect to life that will transform the lessons of the classroom into pleasures that the contrast inspired within us.
That aspect is that of creation. It is also called the law of manifestation, the law of attraction. This law has been demonstrated in its fullness by wise sages of the past who were told to divide bread and fish, turn water into wine. Some were told to levitate. These wise ones were of course at the top of this practice and could immediately manifest what they desired to manifest. The rest of us have training wheels until we can master that level of pure intent and love, for love is the underlying catalyst. Those training wheels are both time and focus. Our focus must be directed toward what we desire in a way that we are in alignment with what we desire. If you focus on poverty, if you focus on what you do not have, then you are in alignment with the opposite of what you want. Clear focus of what you do want, over time will always manifest that which you have created in your mind and emotional state.

This is the magic wand that we all possess in order to grow beyond what our classrooms have given us. Our mission is to use the contrast of our classrooms, then focus on what that contrast inspires within us to experience. That means, leaving behind the feelings of what you do not want, leaving behind the feelings of what you do not have. To move beyond your own contrasting emotions, one is to focus clearly on what you desire, as if you already have it, as if you can already smell it, you can already see it. You see this thing in others, you see it in your own life. You embrace it as if it is yours now. Every time you think this way, every time you feel this way you are creating more thoughts and feelings that match the vibration and more thoughts and experiences that feel that way are headed to you as surely as you thought them. This is the power of creation, a power that the God that created us used to create the world, and in creating us in his image we are empowered to do the same here on earth, within the context of our own lives.

This power goes way beyond the power of positive thinking and how you may have imagined that. This is not a system where you will make yourself feel better and then nothing happens. This is the power that creates your months and weeks ahead of you. This is why optimistic people are optimistic! They have created lucky and special opportunities and experiences for themselves that continuously validate why life is good. They do not have to work out the details of how things happen by manually controlling every experience. They simply create what they want by coming into alignment with the feeling of what they want. The universe works out the details and points you in the right direction by giving you lucky opportunities, by guiding you with inspiration to chase something. The universe takes you by the hand and leads you toward the creations that you create by what you are aligned too. In a nut shell, you are aligned to what you think about, what you are feeling and what you see in other people.

Embrace the classroom you were born into. Out of that classroom and the contrast within, you have learned what you do not want, and more importantly you have learned what you do want! Then embrace the power of God that you inherited to live in unity with God by realizing your power to create your own reality. The classroom is what you were given, the rest of your life is simply what you create!

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

Separation from God? Not really

Fundamental Religion has strived to impress upon the masses that we are separate from God, and that he resides outside of us. We are told that not until the great return of Jesus that we will once again reunite with him.

We are also told that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in between. My common sense tells me that I see everything I see, and everything I see was created, so what ever made everything, must have made EVERYTHING. If this is true, would this not be like an ocean full of life both large and small? Everything in this ocean was created from the resources that exist in the ocean. Every atom, every molecule, every piece of DNA, every bone and shell was created by the minerals in the ocean. Can we tell the shark, you are not part of this ocean! You are separate from me and must wait until you die to experience me. And if you are not a good fishy and listen to the sea horses tell you how to live your life, I will cast you upon the land when you die and let you bake in the sun!

How can we, who were created by what we will call God, be separate from him? How can the shark swim to any part of the ocean and not be with the ocean? Why does this concept of separation offend my common sense, the common sense I was born with, the tool I must use to find truth, the tool that whatever created me, gave me to sort out what makes sense and what does not.

Common sense tells me that religion in general would benefit from the notion that the people need the church to find god. Without the certain threat of everlasting eternity in fire, what power would the religions have to persuade you of walking through the grand front doors? If religion did not enforce that you are separate from God, then who or what would? Common sense tells me, nothing and no one.

Someone may say, but the churches of religions are sacred as is the book we use. Then I would say what of the priests, pastors, etc that have been in the news in the last 50 years doing all sorts of unholy activities. Have men always been men, or is that just a phenomenon of the last 50 years? Common Sense says, men have always been men.

Un-reputable psychiatrists have always needed a sick patient in order to be a psychiatrist. They need you to believe that you can not find your peace of mind on your own. People selling get rich quick schemes need you to feel poor and believe that only they have the secret that you need. And a misguided part of fundamental religion states that you are separate from God, and the only way to connect is through the church and or the tithing plate.

When I look at a child that is laughing and giggling I feel warm and fuzzy inside. That one event makes me so happy above all the other daily events. Common sense tells me that is me realizing God in the face of that baby. And maybe I should find that face in everyone I see?

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tonyhanes.blogspot.com/2008/08/separation-from-god-not-really.html' title='Separation from God? Not so much...

Ding Ding Ding, that’s my commons sense meter going off, sorry about that! The above statement is of course a regurgitated mantra of most all religions depending of course on the name of the savior in that area of the world. The statement is of course written in the book of reference for each religion.

Why why why must humanity need someone to follow, or chase as the case may be. Watching 5 minutes of any news broadcast will make this point obviously clear, be that of Brittney Spears or Nichole Richie who have already taken way too much time out of my life in these mini news casts. And why does the media address such insignificant people and events in the first place? Because most people like to chase someone, it is a painful truth but a truth nonetheless. .
Could it be that in the history of man there have been some exceptionally spiritual people who really stood out from the crowd? Well of course my common sense says YES. And then could it be human nature to turn these people in to something more than what they were? My common sense says yes.

Is it possible that these few people had a better understanding of God and life than most people? Is it possible they were only trying to impart to the rest of us that which they knew? Were they trying to bridge the perceived gap between God and man, or were they trying to persuade us to follow only them? My common sense says they were trying to bridge the perceived gap between God and man.

Common sense tells me that God must be everywhere, if he created everything. In fact he must be EVERYTHING. How could God create things out of something that was not him? How could there be any substance in the universe that was not him? My common sense says he could not. It is only the worlds religions insistence that we are separate from God that even raises a question.

If God is all things, all people and all creatures would it pass the common sense test to create a hierarchy of people one must follow to reach God? Or would the littlest biological cell on earth to the most worshiped man on earth have the same potential connection to this source?
Men have created hierarchies; this is a basic function of man. This principle determines who eats first. This determines which man gets the ladies, or at least in the olden days it did.

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tonyhanes.blogspot.com/2008/08/only-one-way-to-heaven-not-so-much.html' title='Only one way to heaven? The concept of fire and brimstone that is. Obviously this was an age of man where people were burned at the stake because they were somehow different. Its only common sense that man would create a God that was as brutal as he was.

If there is a God, and he created all of us in his image which would pass common sense, and we are considered his children, then how is it possible that he would condemn himself to this fiery hell? Some would say that he doesn’t condemn you but offers you the choice. Common sense tells me that God would not give me a choice to be separated from him for all eternity.Common sense also tells me that he would not give this super important knowledge of this future crossroads to other people who say the evidence is in this book or that book. Common sense tells me that for a subject of that great importance he would tell me directly.

It’s impossible for us to contemplate all of eternity, at least for now it is. But for arguments sake, lets say I graph 100 million years onto a piece of graph paper in the scale of days. This piece of paper would reach from the earth to Pluto, and back again. Now lets look at one lifetime on this graph paper. It represents one vertical spike on this tremendously huge graph paper. The rest of the paper, shows nothing. This one vertical spike represents my lifetime here on earth. Such a small, tiny, spec on what is 100 million years.

So am I to believe that my one spike on the graph paper, that would belike 1 atom inside a tennis ball, is the only chance I get at the heaven hell thing? Common sense tells me no. Common sense tells me that if I am immortal in the spiritual sense and I can live forever, that God in his wisdom would give me enough time to sort things out, if not in this life, than in another.

In fact, a God that would deny me the opportunity of another lifetime to get things worked out, verses eternity in hell, would in fact be very much ungodly. If that concept is difficult for you to grasp, then it may be difficult for you to grasp the concept that you are in fact here now? Common sense tells me that if I am here now, it’s at least possible that I can do it again, and may have done it in the past.

Common sense tells me that hell is a creation of man, and not of God. Just as early man shaped God into the only things he knew at the time, the Sun, Moon and stars, so did later man as he made God more personal, yet with the same prejudices as he had, in creating a God that would slay men and women for his own personal needs.

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

A little perspective

What of the child born in a third world country to alcoholic parents who sees nothing but violence and anger. He grows up to adopt the only tools he has ever learned from his parents and dies in a hold up attempt at a local store. This kid would no more know who Jesus was than Mark twain. What a sucky sucky lifetime that was! But then again, sometimes trees may have a bad year too?

Common sense tells me that this kid is in a cycle of spiritual improvement that will take him though many experiences on earth and with many people. If someone tells me that God has said, you have a choice of heaven or hell and this kid obviously chose hell, then I would tell you that your idea of God and mine are two very different things!

How can an oak tree grow to 100 foot in one season? How can a human grow to their potential in one lifetime? Why would God give you common sense then ask you to ignore it?
Why has society allowed the organizations of this world to tell us that our connection to God will come from only one source, one book or one person? Who the hell threw out the only tool we ever had for spiritual growth? It was and is, only common sense.

Personally I’ve read the whole bible and some. I’ve read some of the Koran, and hundreds of other books. In all these texts I have read things that do pass my common sense filter. Truth rings true. And I memorized much of the bible, the parts that ring true and pass my common sense filter. But I will not quote those here, not in any of my articles on the site. I want you to see the value of using your own God given sense … common sense.

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

Humans on Earth - the grand social paradigm

The big picture of life; What are humans doing on earth?

This is of course my opinion based on my own intuition common sense and research.

There have been hundreds of billions of humans on earth. There have been trillions of trillions of life forms on earth. There have been hundreds of trillions of trillions of microscopic life forms on earth. Did each one of these life forms spring up independently out of the sea of creation all at different and random times? Are all these life forms independent of all other life forms with no connection to each other? Common sense tells me that it is illogical that so much life all sprang into this world from different sources of life, from a different place of origin, having no connection to each other or the same life force.

In the beginning there was God, we are told. Regardless of where that phrase originated from, it makes sense to me. There was something in the beginning, there had to be. Whatever this thing was, we can call God. Who knows exactly what this God was, in what form it was in, but at least I can understand that whatever it was, it was. It was everything and the only thing. Everything else came from this beginning, this God, this life force.

As this God began to expand, to create, physical worlds were born among a probable unknown countless worlds at that. God created the physical world but had no way to engage with it personally, as consciousness had to be present in physical matter to experience it. So physical life forms were created, life forms inhabited by parts of God, parts that were born by a division of God its self. These spirits, or souls are extensions of God, a micro part of the macro world.

When these spirits, life forms and creatures enter into the physical bodies of these physical creations, all memory of the source is temporarily forgotten. At least now it is by humans; partly due to society and its teachings, partly due to the DNA inheritance of parents and grandparents etc. While this memory is forgotten it is not inaccessible if one applies himself to the memory. We often have flashes or dreams of intuition that give us clues to the true nature of reality.

God wishes to expand its self, here on earth and all the other worlds which it created, which by extension we help to create. Each life, each generation grows, albeit just a little. We come down here in physical form to be on the leading edge of creation, for God. In the timescale of forever, one lifetime is not even a nanosecond in the scale of forever. As we repeat our experience of earth through reincarnation, we gain wisdom and experience and eventually we evolve into an elevated state of Godness in the same way we are taught Jesus did. When this happens we have completed the cycle of reincarnation.

When we finish a lifetime we return home where we can explore the things we learned here on earth from the contrast that only exists here. Our time here fills us with new desires and interests that can only be born from the contrast present only in the physical world.

On the world of spirit, which is our natural home, we do not have contrast there, we experience a complete sense of oneness with all things. On the other side there is no Hot and Cold, no Hunger or strife. . The contrast that we live here for the brief moment of one lifetime fills us with experience that we will evaluate when we return home to the world of spirit. Eventually we want to come back again to the leading edge of creation to participate again in this wonderful world of contrast, and we do.

Eventually, this process will bring heaven on earth as expansion continues to bring the same principles of heaven to earth. It is just a process that we all willingly and eagerly participate in.

As we are moving into the new energies (that some call the age of Aquarius, some call the 2012 transformation), our awareness is going to expand and provide us much more information that we have ever been allowed to have. The whole earth is elevating her energies as her vibration increases. Humans are doing the same thing, and this process is upsetting latent and stored emotions that are exploding all over the earth now as we have seen such chaos in governments and even in the weather. This is a process of purging out the old and stagnate energies, to make way for the lighter vibrations of the new energy.

There is not a person on earth now that is not aware at the new and interesting phenomenons we are experiencing. Time is moving faster. Weather patterns have completely shifted, not just on earth but all of our planets. We are seeing corrupt governments and institutions get into trouble and break apart. Tyrants are falling. The new earth is well on its way now. All these symptoms are simply birthing pains for a grand new way of life on earth.

Over the last 20 years, we have noticed all these things increasing. 2012 will be the climax of this transformation, and it will continue for another 20 years after that. The remaining time period will not be only about breaking down the old, but we will soon begin to acquire new and interesting abilities. Some have already done so.

Why Fairness in life seems illusive- but isn't

I will attempt to point to where the fairness lies in this life, on this earth. First we have to expand how we see life and how we see the world. This means that we have to stretch our thinking past some of the limited ways we have been taught to think. For instance, most of us were taught that there is only one lifetime, and the deeds that are done then cast the mold for ever lasting life. This of course holds true for the person who passes away at 101 years of age, or even 2 minutes old.

Most of us were also told that while alive on this earth that we have to follow the teachings of some person who is the enlightened one, and that if we do not, then we would be cast into the depths of hell.

While all of this is going on, we look around and see some people doing horrific things, experiencing horrific problems while others seem to have been blessed from birth. We look for logical understanding to justify what seems to be a chaotic world of random events. Religion will tell us that the lord simply works in mysterious ways.

The problem with finding this understanding lies in the question its self. We are looking for the justice and fairness of life, in the span of one lifetime however long that may be. This is but one piece of a much larger puzzle with many pieces that we have been steered away from seeing. Our common sense will push against what we have been taught, and we seek to follow that guidance only to be put back into place by those who say it is not for us to understand.
We can not find the fairness in life by looking at one piece of the puzzle. The puzzle is in fact much larger, much more beautiful than we had imagined, with many perfectly fitting pieces that when placed together gives us a glimpse of this wonderful world that we live in. Trying to find this knowledge looking at the one individual piece is of course impossible.

We live here now, in this your body on this physical earth. We know that every organ in the body can be replaced except for the brain, and this tells us that our soul does not live in any of these organs. Does it live in the brain? Well there are countless life forms on earth such as jellyfish that move in complex ways even having eyes and being able to process all that information without a brain. The soul does not live in any organ of the body, but is separate, connected but separate.

The fact that we are here now, is evidence that we could have been here before just as easily; Certainly it would have been a different physical body, in the same way that we change automobiles about every 5 years. Its just common sense that if we are here now, then it is absolutely possible we can be here again.

When this extra piece of the puzzle is in place the world becomes so much more vast, the answers to millions of questions immediately answered. Living on earth, being a journey of lifetime to lifetime with breaks in-between. This extra dimension to life allows each person to experience this earth, the experiences of earth in a much more realistic and common sense way. How could one lifetime, some only lasting for minutes give a soul the experience that earth has to offer? There are experiences of being wealthy, poor, powerful, weak, happy, sad, compassionate, cruel. And what of love, how long does it take one to really embrace that emotion as the spiritual sages of the past have taught us? How many people actually die with an unconditional love for all beings?

This path of lifetime to lifetime empowers all humans to reach their potential by experiencing all facets of life, that are simply impossible to do in one earthly lifetime. This continuous path of life explains so much of how each person is born with their own preferences of life, of people with their own particular talents and faults.

This progressive path of experience allows us to grow, to eventually bloom into the most that we can be. Living multiple lives allows each person to experience all areas of life, and human kind, learning as we go. When we look at this bigger picture we can see now how the fairness of life manifests. It is a continuum, from one life to the next.

Some people will only consider truth from a source they were told that contains all the truth. Perhaps a text book, or scroll. The problem with doing this is that your view of life will be limited to only what resides in that book. There was no book on earth written that contained all the information of the world that we now know, from astronomy to genetics to quantum physics, or the infinite information that is still there for us to grasp. More importantly, denying our own common sense, the one tool we were born with to separate the wheat from the chaff will completely limit our ability to find truth. Truth resides here, truth resides there, and truth can be found anywhere in anything. Common sense can piece the grand puzzle together if only given a chance.

To find the fairness in life, without question you must expand your view of life. You must use that feeling deep in your stomach that says “ah ha” that makes sense. Life is so much more rewarding to experience when one begins to understand that we were taught to think in limited ways. When this is acknowledged, the whole world opens up filling you with the excitement and wonder of a child.

Tony Hanes http://www.trimmerassist.net/the_meaning_of_life_is

The Grand Illusion

From the perspective of how most Americans were raised;
We are born into fundamental belief systems that our parents hold, and they have their thoughts as they too were passed down from parent to child. These beliefs include politics, theology, morals and work ethics among countless other attributes. It is a rare one of us who challenges these systems of beliefs by using logic or common sense. We hear the same information and arguments so often that they simply merge into who we are and we adopt them before we are truly old enough to evaluate them for ourselves.

This transference of beliefs naturally resulted in the passing down of negative things such as racism from family member to family member. There were also things of high merit passed down, such as patriotism and belief in the American dream etc.

In the history of the world, it is only those who had the courage to rise above the way they were taught, to rise above the beliefs of basically the whole world, who led us kicking and screaming the whole way to higher forms of understanding and knowledge. These people showed us that the world is not really flat. That the earth is not really the center of the world, and that it may be possible to fly in the air. These people took us out of our comfort zones and through all of the protest and in some cases they were executed, these people eventually led us to truth.
While we have made progress, there remain grand illusions that continue to slow the growth of mankind toward spiritual enlightenment. The greatest of these still surviving illusions is that of mans relationship to God, and to each other. The establishments of this world have continued to pass down generation after generation information that is simply incorrect. This information has been passed down for so long, that it is likely that none of the participating parties even have any awareness of the misinformation that they continue to spread. Perhaps the Vatican may still know the truth as they have remained such a powerful ally to the misinformation and have kept meticulous records for thousands of years.

Yet the fact remains that the churches manipulation of information to control the masses still rolls strong even to this day. The public is told that the word of God has been given, albeit always to someone else rather than you. This word will confound your common sense, yet you are repeatedly told equally illogical beliefs to smooth over the original confusion.
Religion in this modern day will still hold to the notion that man is separate from God. You may have to be baptized to enter into the kingdom of heaven, or you may have to follow Jesus Christ, or Ala or any number of other dictates, yet the point being that you are separate from God. The point being that in your natural state of being, that God is somewhere else and separated from you. This is the single most misleading argument of modern religion. If in the beginning there was nothing, then the universe was created by God, then from nothing to God has to mean that God created EVERYTHING. Everything that was created was created out of God, by God. Planets, Stars, Humans, Dogs and even chickens were all created out of what could be nothing other than God its self. Could God create other substances that were not of God? Can your body grow hair that is not your hair?

Gods connection to us is as steady and unbroken as our own connection to our skin is. There can be no separation between each person to God, anymore than there is between a fish and the ocean.

Religion will suggest that you must be saved, as if you were created by something other than God, or that perhaps you once were of God but then fell into a hideous transformation to something ungodly. And what of being saved? What is one to be saved from?
But of course that is the second part to the grand illusion that is passed down and reinforced throughout modern religion. You must be saved from evil, the devil and ultimately hell. If not for the existence of these things, then one would not need the church to find their own relationship to God. One would not have to be told from another person what God wants them to do. If it were not for these boogey-men, then a person could find the inherent natural relationship that always exists between each person and God. You would not need a middle man to sell you the new car. You would not have to assume that God told the salesman everything he needed to know to sell you that car. If it were not for these boogey-men, you would be able to create your own new car.

Doesn’t it pass your common sense to think that surly God would have given you the same connection to guidance and wisdom as every other human on earth? Doesn’t it pass your common sense to understand that this information would come to you in inspirations, intuitions and in simple but powerful understandings that just envelope you? Doesn’t it pass your common sense to understand that God wouldn’t need salesmen to promote his product?

Satin, the Devil, Evil and Hell; all powerful emotional tools that are easy to wave around and instinctively scare the Hell out of those who came to hear sincere genuine advice on how to live better lives. These are of course tools that the religions use to legitimate their own existence. Sort of like, insisting a country has weapons of mass destruction to validate the need to go to war. Fear is a powerful catalyst that can not only move congregations, but of course an entire country.

Humanity is now experiencing the highest level of knowledge that we know of. Our society is now more advanced than any in recorded history, and still growing at an astonishing rate. Humanity is ready to take back their own relationship to God, to take it back from those who want you to believe that they know more than you do. The truth is that they do know more than you do about the dogma they learned, the dogma that has been passed down from century to century, person to person. The dogma however is actually what is preventing you from finding your own knowledge and your own spiritual wisdom that you have an innate connection to.
I have written other articles on Satin, Evil and Hell, but will address all these here in this way. We should not gauge our Godliness or spirituality based against any of these words just mentioned. These words should not invoke fear or worry. They should not be held over you as punishment to control your actions; For ultimately you are always as connected to God as sap is to a tree. It is simple understanding of this that awakens your memory of this fact. If you will read my other articles I think I factually presented the case that there is no Hell or overlord Satin that is hiding behind a bush to steal your soul. You should not go through life evaluating how many sins you or your neighbor have partaken. This way of thinking, only serves to farther separate your state of mind that you are divided from God.

Understanding God has nothing to do with keeping score, and especially not in judging others. God is within all things! God created all things, all things come from god, and there is no separation from God to anything ever created! God dwells on a certain level of vibration, of feeling. God will not lower its self to you when you judge others or when you judge self. God will never lower his vibration for anyone, at any time. God allows you the freedom to exist in any state of mind that you desire. But to experience God, one only has to adjust their vibration to his station. This station is all about allowing others to be who they are. This station is about seeing in others things that you can love about them. This station is about looking over or past the things you find fault with and embracing the things they have that make you feel good inside.
God is woven through the fabric of all that is. Its vibration is that similar to Love, although its true vibration is much higher. Love is the one emotion that we have access too that allows us to bath with God in its expression. This vibration is the only thing we need to be concerned with in our relationship to God. We do not have to be concerned about sins, about the devil or about everlasting fire.

On this journey of life, all we have to do is find that vibration in all of our experiences and with all the people we encounter. Its just a matter of tuning in to where the harmony of the universe is. When a person lives in this place, in this state of mind, all ones actions are immediately directed toward harmony with God, with the universe.

The grand illusion of man must come to an end so that we can take the next step in spiritual evolution. I would like to inspire you to take back your divinity from those who claim to know what you should do. Take back your power from those who are controlling you with fear. But above all begin to honor your common sense, and your own power to connect to this source and find your own wisdom.

Keep in mind that ages ago, mankind worshiped the stars and sun and moon. This was simply the closest way mankind could understand God at this time. God was basically nature, which really isn’t a bad way to acknowledge God.

After that, mankind turned God into different personalities who lived on the clouds, in Greek mythology. These characters were as naughty as the worst characters on a soap opera. Man had began to change god into a more human form, yet with all the vices and malice that mankind had at the times.

The last revolution was in turning God into a more family oriented hierarchy “father son and holy ghost”. Yet even with the progress, this God still carried very real human traits of being vengeful, of mass murdering of his people and of course to the possibility of all eternity in a fiery hell.

Fortunately we are on the brink of yet another revolution of God, which I’m hopeful will bring us closer to the true reality of God than anything in history has allowed us. This God will not have the elements of humans who are acting out of harmony with God. This God will be about liberating humans to accept their innate divinity and oneness with all things. This God will not be a murderous God, nor a vengeful God. This God will be all about realizing that we may actually be Gods trying to by human rather than humans trying to be God.
