The Meaning Of Crossing Over

Recently the term "meaning of crossing over" has been escalating in Google searches. I felt compelled to address this issue for those who are looking for meaning from this experience.

There is of course a very good reason why people would be searching for more meaning. Unfortunately the system that should provide these answers (churches and religion) have failed miserably at addressing this issue. Religions of the world are stuck hundreds of years in the past, and the only explanations they can provide seem counter to common sense and as such leave the investigator with more questions than answers.

So, whom could we turn too for clarity? Well of course we can use the experiences of the millions of people who have had near death experiences, and to a lesser degree we can use the adventures of people who experience Out Of Body Experiences - of which I have personally experienced this. We can also use the information acquired from the metaphysical community as this is the direct exploration of everything that is not physical. Much of this information is gathered via communication with the spirit world.

First of all, death is not death. Society has simply taught us the wrong information about what to expect when this experience happens to us. In fact, I do not even like to use that word, as it implys so many wrongful meanings. Crossing over is a much better term that is in fact much closer to the true meaning of crossing over.
In the big picture of life, humans are on an evolutionary path - and I am not referring to the concept of evolution where life evolves. I am speaking to the reality that each human has a soul. This soul experiences the earth plane by incarnating in a human body, to grow up and experience this world of polarity. As I'm sure you have noticed, we live in a world of duality, hot-cold, happy-sad, angry-peaceful. Therefore earth is the classroom of the soul where we eventually learn to live in harmony with (God, Divine Source, Creation).

Through our souls growth we learn many lessons and we experience many lifetimes, in as many different roles. Sometimes we play the victim and sometimes we play the victimizer. Sometimes we are poor, and sometimes we are rich. We evolve our souls, in the same way that we evolve our personalities through education and experience.

Crossing over is simply a graduation of one class. We take our experiences back to the world of spirit where we reflect on our lives and recharge our batteries. Eventually with much assistance we decide when and where we will incarnate into the earth plane again to continue our souls educations. Unless of course the last life lived was a profound life where we came to true understanding of life and God, and we have completed our reincarnation cycles.

As we first cross over into the world of spirit, we will be met by people we may have know for lifetimes. We will be met by relatives who have already crossed over. Our first impressions will be of overwhelming love and acceptance. We will at this point have memories of who we have been before, and we will have instant memory of who all these people are. We will feel that we have arrived at home. This is the case for all who have crossed over into the world of spirit, regardless of how "bad" or "good" they may have been. In the world of spirit, there is no judgment - only observation of how well one did to meet the goals that were selected before birth.

After the greeting there is a time of reflection where each person reviews the entire past life to gain the knowledge of what was done well, and what was done poorly. Still there is no judgment, only reflection. When this period is over, the person then moves into the world of spirit where there is a real world, just like here on earth. There are many things to do, and you may explore and learn about anything you desire to know. You may spend many months here, or you may spend hundreds of earth years here.

There is no sense of time in the world of spirit, as this is a higher dimension. The past, present and even future can be explored if desired. As you interact with other spirits they can assume many shapes, and they usually assume for you the appearance of the person they were the last time you had experience together on earth. Spirits usually manifest themselves in their twenties or thirties when they were physically in prime physical condition. Sometimes a newly arrived spirit will attempt to make communication with physical loved ones, and in some cases do make this communication.

And that is the general nature of crossing over. There are of course a few rare exceptions. If a person lived a very destructive life, and had a very strong belief in heaven and hell, then upon crossing over they may experience a hell type of environment. This experience is not punishment, as there is no punishment. This is simply the result of strong beliefs that set up the transition environment. In time, with help from other spirits this false illusion will dissolve and the person will be shown the true nature of reality.

There are different levels of spirit world, and you may go as high as your spiritual evolution has taken you. If you were a crooked scoundrel in your past lives and have not matured spiritually, then you will be restricted to the lower levels of the spirit world. This is because like attract like which is a physical and spiritual law of nature. This type of person would receive much counseling from spirit type guides who's job is to assist those of a lower nature. And yes, when we cross over we will find all sorts of jobs that we can undertake while in the world of spirit.

So I would say, never fear crossing over. This will be a grand experience that you have done before, and once you are experiencing this again, you will have instant recall of your memories that are not available to us while in the physical body. Embrace your life, and attempt to evolve spiritually. Enjoy life, and enjoy the day when you eventually cross over, one more.

He Died for Our Sins? What a Crazy Social Paradigm this was !

"He Died for our Sins"  - One of the oldest and most manipulated Paradigms of all...

You have been told, as I have that Jesus died for our sins. When you were a young little kid and you first heard this notion, it is very likely that that idea did not make sense to you. It certainly made no sense to me, and that among several other ideas that we were taught haunted me for years until I came to an understanding about why I felt that way.

We all have an idea about what Jesus was about, with the teachings we were given that he taught to the people he came into contact with. He was non judgmental, loving and always seeing in other people the same thing he saw in the source of life, or God. He lived his life on this earth without following any other man, or religion. He simply relied on the voice within himself, and was able to access this knowledge for the way he thought about others without judgment or condemnation.

We all know the story we were told about his life and the crucifixion at the end of his life. We are also told the reasons behind this life and ending of this life, were that he died so that God would be able to forgive us of our sins. I want you to reflect back to the first time you heard this perspective of this story. It is more than likely that this simply did not make sense to you, your common sense that you were born with could not see a connection between these events. Some of the questions that you may have thought include; If God is God and all powerful, why could he not forgive us anyway? Why would God allow his son to die in such a horrific way, so that he would be capable of forgiving us, when as we all know forgiveness is simply a choice that one makes. If your common sense is like mine, it must have screamed to you that there is no connection between the two events, not even in an indirect way. I certainly would not have to sacrifice my kids to forgive you. There simply is no connection between the two events.

Why would we be told this was the reason for Jesus to have walked this earth?

Because this story instills the notion that we are separate from God, the source, that we are “sinful” in nature and that is such a reality that God allowed his son to die so that he could save our souls. This story makes Jesus a martyr and creates the notion that we are inherently sinful and separate from God, so that we have to follow the church to find our forgiveness of these inherently sinful attributes that we are born with.

In other words, the church used this slant on the events to create the illusion that we are so separate from God by sin, and that it is such a reality that he let his own son be killed so that he could once again accept us. This whole theory establishes the idea that we must follow the church for forgiveness of sin. In fact it is so true that God had to sacrifice his son to make it so, they say.

Now lets use our common sense to evaluate this theory. If I do not need to sacrifice my son to forgive you, then you can rest assured that God would not have to sacrifice his son to forgive you. To even assume that God has to forgive you, means that God has previously condemned you. To condemn you means he cast you away from him, away from love, away from acceptance and shut you off from his connection.

If God created everything, including you, then you have to be made of what God is. If God is omnipresent, omnipotent and the source for all things, to condemn you or me or anyone is to condemn a part of himself, much as a person may hate and condemn their own fat body, or a face they perceive as ugly. Humans do condemn their selves and even each other, and we also contract diseases like cancer where the body begins to destroy its self as if it were reacting to our own condemnation. But would you place that same level of ignorance on the one you call God? Would God the source actually condemn any part of its self, to shut a part of its self off from its own love and forgiveness? Well if God would do that, he would be much more Human than Godly.

Would it not agree with your own common sense that Jesus had a stronger connection to this source than most of mankind? Would it not make sense to you that the teachings and perspective that he gave the world at the time he was here was a contribution that was needed at that time? Could the reason of his lifetime simply be to impart that knowledge to the rest of us? Jesus was not known to have ever condemned anyone for anything. Would you think the source energy that he was living through would do any different?

What does your common sense think about the possibility of men skewing the truth of these events, to gain control of your spiritual destiny? For if they can control your spiritual destiny then they control your values, your tithing, your forgiveness and can remove your own sense of personal connection to God. The same personal connection that Jesus must have had since he was not part of any religion nor did he follow any master. Jesus forgave everyone, without sacrificing anyone. I have forgiven many people without sacrificing anyone, and I imagine you have done the same.

If Jesus was crucified or IF he lived his life to an old age, his eventual death had nothing to do with your forgiveness. Forgiveness was inherent in his message and his life. Forgiveness wasn’t something that he exercised, it was just the normal state since he never condemned. Jesus followed his own inner voice, following no dogma or religious leader. He exercised his own common sense and his innate connection to source that we all have equally. Perhaps he was so knowledgeable for the fact that he looked for the guidance and wisdom from within, rather than outside of himself. Perhaps this alone was the message he passed along to the rest of us.
